Successful Philadelphia soap shop Duross & Langel (with stores in Midtown Village and also in Haddonfield) sells some of the best all natural soaps and skincare products in the city. Created by partners Steve Duross and James Langel, their mission was to produce the “finest bath and personal care products, with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and in-house production.” They set out with the goal to offer something that was unique and unlike anything available in stores. With their flagship store and local production, they have been able to support the Philadelphia economy.
Steve Duross & James Langel had humble beginnings in 2004 when they set up shop in their house, selling soaps and other products they’d create in their kitchen. Their goal was to offer quality, affordable products and great customer service-- they knew this would be the key to their growth. A few years later, they moved into their current location, the 2200 square foot store on 13th street which offered them a large sales floor and second floor kitchen to produce their products. The duo have developed a team and hired workers who share their love for natural skin products. Duross & Langel also pride themselves on being a social responsible company-- the develop their own packaging, their products do not contain synthetic ingredients, and 96% of their ingredients are derived from botanical sources.
They just recently expanded their business and opened a new store in Haddonfield, NJ in February at 111 Kings Highway East.
